June 8, 1969 Sunrise June 10, 2021 Sunset
Amy Elizabeth Lobb, our dearest angel with a great and generous heart, departed her earthly bonds on June 10, 2021. We will miss her kindness, happy uplifting personality, her contagious laugh and wisdom.
Amy was a Kansas City native, born June 8, 1969, to Howard J. and Mary Ellen Lobb. She grew up in Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Redemptorist) Parish, graduated from Notre Dame de Sion Grade School and Bishop Miege High School. She obtained an Electronic Instructor Degree as a Micro-Processor Technician from Penn Valley Community College and obtained her technology degree from DeVry Institute.
Amy was a nanny prior to embarking on her software career. Amys work history included roles as a Micro Processor Technician/Data Processor Training Manager in the medical insurance field, and a Data Tester/Software Analyst in the software industry. She earned several workplace awards for her dedication and service.
Amys other interests included a passion for electronics, gymnastics (where she competed statewide during her high school years), the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals and a deep love of animals. She held their two Yorkies, Deacon and Wrigley, near and dear to her heart.
Amy is predeceased by her parents Howard J. and Mary Ellen Lobb, and a nephew, Matthew John Lobb. Surviving Amy are her partner Carlton Lyles and her Lobb siblings: Jesse, Joe (Patricia), Mary Margaret Draughon (Webb), Teresa Walker (Mark), Christopher (Teresa), Cynthia Paul (Timothy), Luke (Julie) and many nephews and nieces.
Amy will be deeply missed and she will always be remembered in the hearts of many. We love you very much, Amy.
