Alice J. Kitchen

Alice J. Kitchen left this world on November 14, 2025. A public Celebration of Life will be on January 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spencer Theatre, 4949 Cherry St., Kansas City, Missouri. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Johanna Laughlin, her husband, Ronald Kitchen, her brothers, Dave Laughlin and Patrick Laughlin. She is survived by her sister, Julie Effertz, her many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of dear friends. Alice’s last wish was that her advocacy efforts for equity and justice be carried on until all people are treated equally and with respect.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity supporting children and women are suggested.
