Alice J. Wright

October 11, 1935 — December 25, 2020

Alice J. Wright, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away in the loving and caring arms of a hospice nurse on December 25, 2020 just in time to celebrate Christmas with dad. Mom was born October 11, 1935 in Akron, New York and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. She met the love of her life (late James ONeill Wright) and was married on June 8, 1955.
Mom was a gifted artist and also enjoyed serving on local garden clubs in Kansas City but she was most proud of her extended family. Survivors include her children: Jim (Teresa), John (Buster/Lady), Jeff (Laura), Jessica, Jay (Holly); grandchildren: Jason (Jenny), Mike (Christie), Megan, Brennan, John, Andrew and Matt; great grandchildren; Summer, Carter and Jack. The family also wishes to express their appreciation for the care provided by the memory care staff at Kingswood.
Private services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice House (www.kchospice.org). Condolences may be expressed to the family at MuehlebachChapel.com.
