Alice 'Cookie' Gregg

Alice "Cookie" C. Gregg, 73, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on September 5, 2018. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 9 from 1:45 to 4:00 p.m. (Rosary at 1:45 p.m.) at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4101 E. 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137. The family will have an open house in true "Cookie Fashion" (immediately following). Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 10th at St. Catherines at 9:45 a.m. Burial in Longview Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the church. Cookie was born in St. Louis, MO on September 15, 1944 to Robert J. and Alice E. (Grant) Callahan. She was a true homemaker and the ultimate party planner. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Patrick Callahan and her in-laws, George D. and Cleta M. (Tranel) Gregg. She is survived by her husband, Bruce T. Gregg and her two children; Kim Toigo and her husband Joe, Ron Gregg and his wife Michelle Dew. Cookie also leaves behind her grandchildren, Mia, Griffin and Truman. She also leaves her sister, Mary Ann Stenner (Jim), a niece, Kathy Lottes and nephew, James Stenner and countless cousins. Suggested memorials in Cookies memory would be St. Lukes Hospice or The Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland.
