She attended Austin High School in Chicago and then moved with her family in 1947 to Jackson, Tennessee where she later attended Lambuth College and met Ernest M. Totty (Jack), her life-long companion. Jack and Wanda were married in Jackson, Tennessee on March 25, 1951. Wanda is most remembered for her fun loving, creative, and giving spirit. She was a friend to all and gave selflessly of herself to others. She was adventurous and loved travel to all parts of the world, but mostly enjoyed the beauty of the ocean and sailing in the Caribbean. She always put her family first and cherished special annual reunions at Lake of the Ozarks where she and her family enjoyed water skiing, golfing, swimming and enjoying the fun and relaxation of lake life.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Vernon Price, her two sisters, Iris Marcom and Marjorie McDonald and the love of her life, Jack Totty. She is survived by her three children, Mark Totty, Scott Totty, and Lea Ann Fowler and her husband Craig Fowler; five grandchildren, Justin Totty and wife Kim Totty, Mikala Totty, Logan Totty, Nick Groesser and Alexa Groesser; three step-grandchildren, Addie Hairgrove (married to Matt Hairgrove), Jonny Fowler and Anna Fowler and two great-grandchildren, Vivianne Totty and Tate Totty.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Crossroads Hospice and to the important and loving caregivers that added comfort and immeasurable value to Wandas life.
