O. Nadine Kubis

O. Nadine Kubis, age 95 of Kearney, MO, formerly of the Kansas City area, passed away October 18, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospice House. Friends may call on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10 am at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO., the funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family suggests contributions be made to Children's Mercy, 2401 Gillham Road, Kansas City, MO 64108.Born June 18, 1921 in Moberly, MO to Glenn and Nelle Graham, Nadine attended schools in Moberly majoring in secretarial skills. She was secretary to the Office Manager of Orscheln Bros. Truck Lines in Moberly, she pursued her secretarial skills in Kansas City as secretary to A.H. Clark, President of the Jones Store, and in 1962 joined the H.D. Lee Company as an Executive Secretary to the Vice President, working in that position as an Account Representative until her retirement in 1981.Nadine was a member of the Countryside Christian Church. She and her husband, Glenn, traveled extensively throughout the world. In 1970, they traveled to New Orleans and watched the KC Chiefs win the Super Bowl. She had a great love of her husband and their family. Nadine is survived by daughters; Karen Whitworth and husband Jerry, Kathy Bailey and husband John, and Jill Kubis of Bangor, ME, a son, Kit Kubis and wife Carolyn, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Her husband, Glenn, preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 2016.
