Joe W. Coleman, 74, passed away April 26, 2016. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 6pm, Friday, April 29th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO followed by Visitation until 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00pm Saturday at Visitation Catholic Church, 5141 Main St., Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Visitation Catholic Church.Joe was born February 15, 1942 in Trenton, MO. He was a graduate of Trenton High School and received a Masters of Law and Trial Practice from the University of Missouri Columbia where he was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Joe served in the US Army during the Korean War and practiced law in the Kansas City area. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Coleman; children, Brenton Joseph Coleman, Brandon Joshua Coleman and wife Stephanie Lynn; Breanne Joelee Coleman; grandchildren, Abigail Coleman and Owen Coleman. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Marylee (Wickizer) Coleman and a brother, Thomas Hobbs.


Words of Remembrance will begin at 6:00pm with the Visitation following until 8:00pm.
