Joanne Scherzer

Joanne Scherzer, 84, passed away on October 24, 2018 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO 64131. Burial on Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Joanne was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 19, 1934 to John Henry and Ethel Gertrude (Smith) Donohoe. Joanne owned her own ceramic business and taught ceramics. After owning her own business, she spent several years helping Steve and Cherie start their own business, One Stop Decorating. Joanne loved to travel. One of her favorite places was Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and an aunt, Margaret Dalton. She is survived by her daughter, Cherie Roellchen and her husband, Steve of Lake Quivira. She is also survived by two grandson: Brandon and his wife Stephanie and their children, Owen and Avery; Jason and his wife Chrissy. Friends may leave condolences at www.MuehlebachChapel.com
