Glenn Kubis

Glenn Kubis, 102, of Kearney, MO passed away on September 10, 2016. Visitation will be at 10am on Saturday, September 17th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave, KCMO, with the Service following at 11am. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Greater Kansas City American Legion Band.
Glenn was born May 21, 1914 to Robert and Lela Kubis. He graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City and spent his career in sales at Mid-States Supply. Glenn spent many years as a referee for Kansas City High School basketball, was a member of the Greater Kansas City American Legion Band as a percussionist for 50 years, and he was also a member of the Shawnee Civic Band. He was a paratrooper in World War II. Glenn was an avid tennis player for many years and was active in his church. He enjoyed all sports.
Glenn loved his wife Nadine dearly. Together they have visited over 23 countries and Nadine has made wonderful albums of their travels. In 1970, they traveled to New Orleans and watched the KC Chiefs win the Super Bowl!
Glenn leaves behind three daughters, one son, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
