Elizabeth 'Liz' Fox

Elizabeth Dorothy Fox, Leawood, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2016 at the age of 91. A funeral mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 12 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, with burial at a later date in Fort Dodge, Iowa.Elizabeth was born on May 21, 1925 to Vito and Jennie Amanzio in Fort Dodge, where she lived most of her life. She married Floyd Fox in 1943, and they had one daughter Patricia Ann. They lived and farmed in Fort Dodge.She is preceded in death by her father, mother, husband Floyd, special friend Bill Wafful, brothers Incnazioa and Tony Amanzio, sister Irene Black and son-in-law William Waris. She is survived by her sister Mary Jensen of Fort Dodge, Iowa; daughter Patricia Waris of Kansas City, Mo.; her four grandchildren Kathleen (Michael) Cuddy, Timothy (Amy) Waris, Mary (Dan) Oades and Anne (Matt) Alexiou and 12 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Place, 3934 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Mo. 64110.
