Catherine E. 'Kay' Roe

Catherine E. "Kay" Roe, 77, of Independence, MO, passed away September 3, 2016. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm Thursday, Sept. 8th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO followed by funeral services at 6 pm. Private interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to The Kansas City MLB Youth Academy. Kay was born September 4, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Francis and Mildred Connor. She moved to Kansas City and worked for Southwestern Bell / ATT at various locations throughout the metro area, retiring in 2003 after over 44 years of service. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim and Joe Connor. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda D. Cox; grandchildren, Carrie, Anatasia, Mikaela and Jesse Cox; great grandchildren, Starlyn Hinkle and Lillian Ledgin; siblings, Joan Allen, Marilyn Ahnefeld, Margaret Woolsey and Frank Connor; many nieces and nephews.
